Kobo on Network TV - Thursday
On their Facebook page, Kobo has posted that Kobo will make an appearance on a "3-letter American Network" at 9 pm on a show that has more than one version. It looks like it's CSI.

They had talked a bit and posted pictures (somewhere--mebbe one of the guys Twitter feeds) with Kobo people and Office stars a few weeks back. I guess we now know why.

What's going on? My kobo Facebook feed is getting spammed - 30 messages in the last hour or so. Looks like they have set something wrong so that everyone in the world who tweets about facebook appears on their facebook wall. Really annoying!

They're using this app. Possibly they've hit the wrong buttons in configuring it. I'm also finding the sudden influx of tweets annoying and am reasonably certain they'll soon fix it, though it's amusing me to read various people posting their own 'Goodbye World!' replies, as if this is confirmation of the beginning of the end for Kobo.

I do like how we get the chance to support a small company with faces and names to put to the usually nameless software development team, marketing, etc., but Kobo does seem to be experiencing a lot of growing pains, in their quest to distinguish themselves from other companies through their extensive use of social media.

Too bad it's not CSI. I watch CSI and would see the Kobo. I don't watch The Office as I don't find it all that funny.
