Help please!

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert my novel from .doc or .htm into .epub or .mobi, pretty please? I have it available on paper and on Kindle but a reviewer wants it in a different format. I don't have an electronic reading device (otherwise I could just convert it from there).

Can anyone help me, please?

Judi

You can try a program called Calibre.

And welcome to MR!

Oh how silly of me - I forgot to mention that that was the program I was trying to use to do the conversion. It doesn't seem to understand when I ask for help with converting from a .doc or .htm file.

Good to have your company, Judi. Can't help with this question, I'm afraid; just calling by to say 'hello'. You might hit the 'forums' button right up top of this page, though, to see if there's a sub-forum here where your question is more likely to be quickly and expertly answered by MR members with experience of such a conversion process. Otherwise, try the Calibre sub-forum here and trawl the treads for an answer. Calibre developer Kovid Goyal is an active member here, and if you need to open a new thread in the Calibre forum, he's likely to offer advice personally. Good luck and very best wishes. Neil

Hi, welcome to MR from the Netherlands Your best bet is Calibre, but you might take a look on the Calibreforum on the main forum page; there's also lots of other info about conversions there. Good luck!

Thanks folks

I'll go and throw myself on the mercy of the specifically Calibre forum.
