PRS-505 PRS 505 -- need to return

I have the full warranty on my 505 including accidental damage. Needs to be returned because my son dropped it while I was in the ambulance on the way to ER. Bent the bottom cover. Still can recharge but not usable for usb cable.

Anyone know what sony is going to do now that they now longer repair the 505s. I'd love to trade it in on a 650 or 950. I also have a pocket edition I would love to trade in with it.

Any suggestions I could use to persuade Sony to do this? Give me a 950 as a trade up on my 505 if I include the 300.

Sorry, to read about your ambulance ride and I'm glad you feel well enough to post.

I don't have an answer for you but hopefully someone with experience will pop in soon.
