Large files to text
Has anyone had experience with using Calibre to move large documents (2000+ pages) from one format to another? I am trying to format something over to a .txt file so I can use it for notes.
I tried once but Calibre was still churning after 20+ minutes and there was no movement in the progress bar. Thanks. |

Some conversions can take many hours. I can imagine 2000+ page documents taking a day. Let it run.

what is the source format ?
if you have it in html , or rtf, you can open it in MS word, then save as .txt. that will be faster |
