Has advertised some interesting deals:

1) A Sony PRS-300SC for $100 (Don't own a Sony and don't know if this is an older model or not, don't know if this is a great deal or not)

2) A literati model 1636377 for $50, seems tempting.

300 clearanced @ Target (and other places) for $40 several months back. I missed it, unfortunately

Our local Office Max had it for $135 before Christmas! ugh.

How is the price on the Literati? I have a Libra Pro so I have no idea how good or bad these prices are. I am interested in the color screen.

This article is from the beginning of October and says:

"The company promises a software upgrade in the immediate future, and a big update in November and December that will both add features and fix bugs"

Does anyone know if this has actually happened?

This is a very sharp looking reader and would be great for one of my daughters who doesn't read enough to warrant a higher priced reader.

Surely the product features listed on Best Buy's site are wrong.

•Weighs 1.4 lbs. and measures just 3.5" thin
For easy portability.

Literati is a nice ereader for the price. I think it was a Dec. 10th update. I bought it at Kohl's before X-mas. My wife has the Nook color and the Literati is no where close to it, but for $200 less it does the job. It would be good for a kid.
