Looking for feedback from those who have used the notes/highlight feature. Ease of use?

Very easy to use on-device. Long-press on a word to select it, which brings up options to highlight, add notes, share or look up. It also adds brackets which you can press and drag to expand the selection. Notes are standard text entry, although one disappointing thing is they don't use the full text entry keyboard, so there's no auto-complete or capitalization etc. Once you have notes they show up under the 'content' menu for the book and you can navigate between them easily. You cannot search just your notes, only the entire book, as far as I can tell.

One major caveat, however, is that you cannot get them off the device (easily). There is a database file that you can access if you root it, but that would then require using sqlite to access that data.

plus the builtin virtual keyboard isn't all that great, so lengthy notes would be a chore IMO... alternative keyboard exist, but again would basically require doing some hacking...
