glad to be a member of mobileread :)
e-readers are not popular where I live, and I don't even know anybody using e-reader around here (I'm sure it sounds weird to you guys). anyway, I like reading books in the native language rather than the translated versions (and it's hard to find an english version of classic literature with reasonable price here), so I decided to order a Kindle wifi last week, and it'll be delivered very soon. can't wait
![]() English is not my mother tongue, so I should need a good dictionary to help understand the strange words in classic books (why did they have to write such lengthy sentences?) |

Good to have your company, Maian. There's a lot of classic and Public Domain reading freely available at MobileRead and beautifully prepared by generous members. Also take a look around the net. You'd probably be thrilled by the huge range at Project Gutenberg. I'm afraid that one wee hitch you're likely to come across with Kindle is that its exclusive use of Amazon's Mobi digital format rules out borrowing books from those public libraries who would lend ebooks to folks in Vietnam. Good luck and best wishes for 2011. Neil
