the FBreader

I have a pocketbook 602, and i want to know where is the fbreader on my device. I cannot find it on my device....In a video of 12 minutes on the net someone explain it, but his device is not organized in the same manner ... thanks for your reply

if you have updated to 2.0.3

when you are going to open book from your library , press and hold the ok button. you will be given a choice to open with either Adobe or FBReader

thank you dulin books for your diligence, this problem of mine is solved...I have another question about the dictionary... If i read a word for which i want a definition in the dictionary, how can i, without typing it on the virtual keybooard, with the small black line appearing look for the definition ? If I click ok button, the small little black line go back to the virtual keyboard and i must typing the word to have the definition,

is it the only method?

I have the same problem. I just bought PB 903 Pro (touch-screeen).
I want to know where is the FBReader on my device. I cannot find it on my device.
In Library, when pressing\holding OK button or tapping on a book, it just simply opens the book directly. It does not give me a choice to open with either Adobe or FBReader

In a video I saw that the Fast Access Menu (in book-reading mode) contains "Setting" (to change font size, margin, spacing etc.), but in my PB 903 I see only "Zoom" instead of "Setting" in the Fast access menu. Where can I find this "Setting" icon ?

If someone can help share some tips\info on this topic, would really appreciate it.

Go to the library, choose the book you like to open, press the 'menu' button. You should then see the context menu Dulin is taking about. From that you can open the book with FBReader.

The 'Settings' option only exists for FBReader. If you have opened your book with FBReader and go to the Fast menu you will see it.

pdf or epub?
Be sure to open a DRM-free epub. If you want to open a DRM_ed epub, there ist no choice between FBReader (which cannot handle DRM) and AdobeReader and AdobeReader will open the book.

Thanks a lot Sunlite for the info. Now I can choose to open PDF books with Adobe or PDFviewer, and for ePub books I can open it with FBReader, which provides more flexibility with the setting option for font size etc.

BTW, regarding the TTS (text to speech) feature, does it work\support only for books in ePub format ? I haven't tried it yet for (text)PDF books.
