Maintain Series with "send to"?

does anyone have a trick to get fbreader on android to see the series and series_index when using "send to"? i've done both send to device and send to disk with no difference. i don't include the content.opf files since fbreader sees that as a 2nd book.

when i copy the files maually from the library to my "books" directory, i can get it to see the series, but "send to" will fail.

i've looked in the files and see that the series and series_index is in the content.opf. fbreader desktop can locate the series info also.

any clue as to why the android version has problems with the "send to" or "save to disk" versions of the books?
