PRS-700 Dead e-book (no, really)

Hi All!

Sorry to bother you but I had the most befuddling experience a moment ago, I was reading my 700 and turned it off to do something elsewhere and when I came back it would not turn on. Now, this would not be strange except I had three of four battery bars and now that it is plugged into my computer my computer is not seeing it, no light is lighting up. When I have had Frozen Screen syndrome in the past usually it lights up and recognizes itself fairly swiftly but it has been 20 minutes and nothing. I am mildly concerned (ok, I am really freaked out) that it has met its maker. Any advice?

You can try a soft reset to see if that will fix the problem.

Look at the bottom of my signature to find the soft reset procedure for you Reader.

Don't know what (EDIT: about the reset procedure) made it responsive but, it worked and did not reset anything! YAYYYY!!!!!!! Thanks! Not only that but it turns off and on successfully, thank you so very much. I am ashamed to say I did not think of the reset! XD
