Christmas Kindle(r)
Hello All,

Santa got me a kindle 3 for Christmas. Its my first ebook reader and I wanted it primarily for the hundreds of scientific/technical pdf that I have.
So far I'm really liking my Kindle. I'm in the process of reading the forums so that I can convert/modify my pdf's for greater readability.

The first lesson I've learned from your forums is that PDF are not ebook friendly but there are work-arounds which I'll try.

Hi Hugo, and welcome to MobileReads. You will love your new Kindle. I haven't used Calibre but find MobiPocket Creator a great way to convert. Once done, click on the .prc file and it should magically show up on your Kindle.
