Sony 650 vrs 700

I have had a sony 700 for years, it may be time to replace, the cover seems to be coming loose.

I love the combination of the sony and Calibre, will Calibre work with the 650 as it did for the 700, particularly with Collections..

Take a look at the thread https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=111736, which explores collections and sorted lists in the 650 quite extensively. You will see that work-arounds are now provided for the sorting problems (the special collections), but I can't say if they will 'work' for you.
