By calibre supported ereaders

Is there a list of supported ereaders by Calibre?

A friend of mine bought a cheap ereader of an unknown brand:
http://www.promobutler.be/itemdetail.do?id=761043

And after plugging it into the computer to transfer books to it with calibre, calibre didnt recognized the thing.

Now im looking for another 3 readers for my familly, and i want to make sure the ones i buy wille be compatible with calibre? I have for myself the Sony PRS 300 wich works fine with calibre.

The list of currently supported readers is in the calibre user guide (new ones are added nearly every week). That also tells you what info needs providing to get support for a new reader added. After providing the required info support normally arrives within a week or two.

You can expect all mainstream readers to already be supported.
