Strange thing with Kindle using Calibre Server and Godaddy Domain
Alright I have a domain that i bought from godaddy a while back. And i setup forwarding and all. It was working for a bit and all but since i upgraded to 7.34 i'm having an issue.
To be more specific i can take and go to mydomain.us on my computer and calibre will show up fine. had friends test on their computers and it works fine. I use my kindle to goto mydomain.us and it simply shows my forwarded mask name in the title and nothing else. I then take and type in the physical ip:443 in the kindle url and the calibre server comes up just fine. Any idea what could be causing this. It sounds like there is a dns issue with the wireless provider for the kindle (cough cough att&t) but i could be wrong. What are your thoughts ? update: apparently there is an issue with the masking portion. Because when i took masking off and simply had it redirect to the ipaddress it works fine.
