First gift of the day

Past midnight here - so it's Christmas.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays all.

My partner just couldn't wait to give me my Christmas present. Books - yay!
Actually, I received nearly all the books written by A. A. Attanasio:

Killing with the edge of the moon
The conjure book
Wyvern
The dark shore
The shadow eater
Octoberland
Solis
The moon's wife
Kingdom of the grail
The dragon and the unicorn
Arthor
The perilous order
Centuries
Hunting of the ghost dancer

Additionally, I got The graveyard book by Neil Gaiman.

They were all paperback as most you can't get on Kindle in Australia. This was similar to another Christmas where I got every Robert McCammon book written at that time.

I'm a lucky guy.

Regards
Caleb

Wyvern is one of my favourite books and I've always wanted a copy so I could read it again down the track. To buy it new is pretty expensive though.

I've seen it priced at over $200 US new.

I got a used copy - but that's fine by me.

Edit- By the way, this was my recommendation to read Wyvern.

Regards
Caleb

OK - Christmas has passed by and I'm left with some more books to read. I received an Amazon book voucher and a book on Christmas day. I've already spent the Amazon gift voucher (of course) and I now have the following books added to my pile:

Harbour - John Ajvide Lindqvist
King Solomon's Carpet - Barbara Vine
20th Century Ghosts - Joe Hill
King of Shadows - Susan Cooper
The Nightmare Within - Glen Krisch
Kraken - China Mieville
Bloodstone - Nate Kenyon
The Windup Girl - Paolo Bacigalupi
A Drink before the War - Dennis Lehane

Plenty of good reading there. Yay for Christmas!

Regards
Caleb
