Welcome to MR. Here's my advice: open up your Kindle AFTER Christmas dinner, or you might end up skipping food altogether! I got my Sony e-book reader the day before my wedding - I pretended that I was dead tired and went to bed extra early just so that I could spend half the night reading. Needless to say, it took my mind off of any sort of wedding jitters I might have otherwise had.

We're leaving for a short ski vacation the day after Christmas. Although I love to ski, I can just picture myself in the lodge with my Kindle and a nice mug of hot cocoa!
