Hi I live in the caribbean just visited miami and bought a kindle from best buy. Customer service guy said I could just buy the kindle books and send to my computer then transfer to kindle. I have not tried it yet but wondering now if as a non us customer I will have problems. Does any one know?

Hi and welcome. If you want buy books from the U.S store you need to register a US address on your Amazon account, other than that it shouldn't be a problem. The miles vary however, some get problems others don't. Best to download the books to the computer first and then transfer them to your Kindle.

Thanks David, I appreciate the advice. I loved the device and read a lot so I actually walked out of the store with 3 devices one for me and two for holiday gifts. Now I begin to panic after I bought them. lol
