Just saying hi
Hi. Not sure if I am doing this correctly-if not, I apologize! Found this site a week ago and am a bit intimidated by the knowledge here. I love the ability to download books for a lot of reasons. I know I will miss the feel and 'smell' of hardcopy, but I will love the reduced expense and positive environmental impact. I would love some advice but I will head to what I think is the correct thread.

Good to have your company, Hart. You'll soon get over withdrawal from the 'feel-and-smell' habit and realise that a book is its content, not its means of presentation. Previous generations must have included folks who missed hand-copied codex, velum, scrolls, clay tablets, etc. The ebook reader is merely another advance in spreading the word. Best wishes. Neil
