I'm Hafni and I'm glad to have found this site.

I read a lot and I just buy an E-Reader, so I thought I'd better have some idea how it can be used. It's a good idea to share knowledge.

Someone needs to give you a primer on ereaders to get you started so I will start with a few points. There are many different brands of ereaders and which one is best for you really depends on what you want in an ereader. Do you want touch screen - get a Sony PRS. Do you want to be able to read absolutely everything there is out there no matter what format the book is in - get the Jet Book. Do you want to be able to search your library for a particular book - then get a kindle. Do you want to pay a lot less for your reader - then get an Aluratek Libra Pro. it really depends on what is best for you.

Some book stores will DRM there products to a point that you need to have their brand of reader to be able to buy from them, these stores are Amazon and Sony.

Prices tend to lage there printed brothers and sisters by approximatly $1 or $2.

I bought the Libra Pro only becuase the Aluratek was willing to sell for what I wanted to pay. If every seller was willing to sell for my price: $100 I would probably buy a Sony PRS.

There are two major formats of ebooks - PDF and epub. Epub tends to be the open format that is readable by all readers where as PDF tends to be restricted in what you can do with the books.

As for managining your ebook library people around these parts tend to use Calibre.

Your english is great, let me make one suggestion I would recommend that you read a lot of posts and look at how we put our sentences together. Focus on those little words that we use to join sentences together, they are odd in english.

I think that for library books, devices that support DRM epub would be better than Kindle.

I forgot to mention, Barnes and Noble now has books in Spanish, but I don't know if they are available in Spain.
