cheapest 9" eink in UK

Currently I've found:
  • kindle dx - $379.00 international shipment version, not sure whether shipping is included or whether that only applies to US addresses, about £250 converted - not sure if there is any import duty to pay on this
  • pocketbook 902 - £303 plus shipping, pre order only
  • Pixelar MReader 9" - £270 plus shipping, pre order only

others?

I ordered a KDXG few days ago for $379 + $20 shipping + $70 Fee/Tax.
That's all. No more costs. It's still enough.
The reader arrived in germany yesterday and is on it's way to me.
Should be delivered tomorrow.

There's no import duty, but you will of course have to pay shipping and VAT.

You might even a get a (small) rebate!

I ordered a KDXG and a Timbuk2 case in July. Two months later I got a refund on tyhe export charges paid for case!

I paid £347.36 for the KDXG and case.
I got an "Export charge refund" of £4.61 on the case.

The same thing happened to me when I bought my Kindle 2 from the US. I suspect that they are perhaps deliberately "pessimistic" when it comes to total shipping costs and VAT, on the grounds that it's easier to refund an excess than to charge extra if they've underestimated the costs.

Agree.
It's easier to refund than to charge extra.
