PRS 600 vs PRS 650

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Sony PRS 600 and the Sony PRS 650? I understand that the screen is brighter, but I'm more concerned about any other differences.

As an example, are they the identical size? Will accessories I now own for my 600, such as my cover, also work with the 650? I'm particularly happy with the size of my 600, and don't want anything either larger or smaller.

Does the 650 come with an external charger, or is it just the USB cable?

Does anyone know if English to Spanish and Spanish to English dictionaries on available on the 650?

Any, or I'll, input is welcome. I've found a 650 on the Internet for less than $200 delivered. I can probably sell my five-week-old 600 for almost that on eBay.

They are a very similar size, but not identical. This means that covers for the 600 will not fit the 650. I think that the 650 is a little lighter in weight.

Just the USB cable, but it is a different USB size to the 600 (micro as opposed to mini USB I think they are called).

Yes, it comes with Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Italian translation dictionaries (both to and from English)

If you can afford it sell your 600 and buy a 650.
No more glare (if you care about it) and a very good touchscreen.
PDF handling is even better than ever before.

For 600 owner 650's screen quality is a the biggest thing.

There's a noticeable glare with the PRS-600 so the screen quality of the PRS-650 is superior. You should definitely go for the PRS-650 because it's a new touchscreen technology for Sony.

Mr RED 650 should be shipping today....... I can't wait to get it. the old 500 won't work for me anymore and for some reason they couldn't firmware update it so they surprised me with a very nice phone call yesterday..

The 650 also seems to have finally legitimately sealed the reader up, so there is a lot less chance of dust creeping under the screen. A friend's 650 got the screen crunched, so he gave the remains to me. I've taken it apart, and, whilst still using a bunch of glue, the 650 is held together a bit more universally by said glue. It's a line of glue around the edges, etc, instead of a dot every two inches as was the case with the 600.

Basically, the 650 is built better than the 600.

When the 600 came out, I thought about upgrading from my 505. However Sony took a step backwards in my opinion on the "fuzzyness" of the touchscreen in the 600. I skipped the generation continuing to happily use my 505. Now with the 650 out, all that has changed. They have VASTLY improved the quality of the touchscreen and I IMMEDIATELY upgraded and have been VERY happy with the 650.

Okay I got the reader today and well will take a little time to get used to it. I do have a question and lost as to where to go. I installed Califbre and had a question about it formatting for which reader, well I told it sony but then I had a few options one was for the Reader daily edition and then the other was for the pocket edition. I set for the pocket edition...... not sure if that matters much or not. Also I think the top choice was any sony devices.......
