Just got a Nook for Christmas. Picked a Nook in order to get books from my library, but none are available-all have waiting lists. so I am on this forum looking for books and suggestions. Thanks, LBDPT

Put yourself on the waiting list if you really want to read the book, but don't want to buy it.......otherwise......

Try our library here.....all public domain books, all formatted by our own members.

You won't find current best sellers, but you will find good reads.

Welcome! I have noticed a huge increase in waiting time for .epub library books in the past few years. I used to get all I wanted (in .pdf only), now I have to wait but there are lots of other sources for free or reduced books. There are some interesting titles in the self-promotions forum right now as well!

I just got a nook too! I put three books on hold for when they were available-all had at least two people on the waiting list. So I was surprised when all three became available within the week! At least with my county library system not everyone who puts a book on hold really wants to read it. Hope it works that way with you too.
