505 screen finally went(Cracked in the sun, no drop)

I was reading on a boat this summer, one of the rare times I had a few hours not working, and the damn screen cracked right in front of me. Now the corner is gone, and more and more vertical lines are appearing. I liked the metal case, and the bigger screen of the 505.
Now I'm on the road, far away from Vancouver, in Arizona actually, as I'm riding my motorbike to Argentina, with my ebook reader as the majority of my off the bike entertainment.
Not sure how I'll afford another one, but I guess a couple years solid service and I still got my money's worth.

Just thought I'd add to the statistics, no idea why it did it.

Sorry to hear your news, but at least in AZ you can still buy a replacement -- further along on your trip,
that would likely have been a serious problem. The 650 is the same size, and metal.

Yep. The cost is going to hurt, badly but I think it's worth it.
I was looking at the KOBO etc, but the one my friends had seems to be rather frustrating to deal with, the preinstalled books are a pain, the organization a pain, and I don't know. The ergonomics were sweet though.
