iPad iBooks re-ordered bookshelf AGAIN

beware if you use IBooks, because when I upgraded to iOS 4 put my books in a random order. Thanks for that app,e, why don't you listen to the comments of your users.

I'm seriously hacked off now.

It may seem like a random order, but it actually sorts books according to the content of the author sort field in the book's metadata. Make sure the author's name appears there last name first.

Oh, and for some reason Apple then orders the books in reverse alphabetical order.

The issue is once you've synced your books, you can use iBooks to change the order of your bookshelf. These changes are not kept track of in the event of an iBooks reset.

Nothing much you can do at the moment. There is a new iBooks version coming which will have folders that should things a little.
