Back peeling off Nook Color

Hello All,
I recently went to Puerto Rico and while I was outside reading (not that great for reading outside by the way), I began to notice the back of the nook plastic covering began to bubble and peel off around the sides.
I was in a cabana and did not lay it on anything other than my lap.
Anyone else experience this or a similar problem?

You mean the black rubbery backing on the Nook Color? Mine feels incredible solid and smooth, not sure why it would do that. Do you have a picture of it by chance?

if so, that would be covered with waranty - just my guess
i would bring it to b&n and complain!

Hi Everyone,
Grimm I didn't get a pic because I took it back as soon as I could. I bought it at BestBuy with the accidental coverage. According to the warranty, it wouldn't cover cosmetic damage. But they exchanged it without a question. Sometimes big box companies do follow through
