ARCHOS 7 Home Tablet

Does anyone have any comments about the ARCHOS 7 Home Tablet for my grandson? (PC Richards has for $159)

Does it play YouTube videos? Maybe Android system is too "old?"

If not, is there any Android tablet that plays YouTube videos, Hotmail, etc.?
He wants it mostly for e-mail, surfing web and playing YouTube videos and other videos, etc.

Definitely does not have to be an e-reader.

What about the Archos 28 2.8 In. Touchscreen Android Internet Tablet
Would that allow us to connect via our DSL at home and would it play YouTube videos and allow us to connect to our Free AOL email?

Archos 7 home tablet is an older Archos tablet with an older Android OS. I believe it does play Youtube. It certainly is good for web surfing.

But I would recommend the Archos 70 (Android 2.1 with a 2.2 update now available). Part of their latest releases of Android tablets (including the 28).
