The nook we have was first registered to my email address. The nook actually belongs to my wife and she wanted to have it registered to her email address. After she got the registeration changed we noticed that all of the books that were downloaded using my email address were gone. They do appear on my pc though. The problem is in restoring those books to the nook from my pc. I tried to restore them by hooking the nook to my pc but I got a message to go to My Library/My Stuff. There is nothing in My Stuff. There doesn't seem to be a way to do the transfer. Are the books in my pc or are they somewhere else? HELP!!!

Under Windows XP my B&N ebooks are in either My Documents\My BN ebooks or My Documents\My Barnes & Noble eBooks. I think the latter is for Nook Study (vs Nook 4 PC).
I don't have a Nook, but I think you will have to treat these as private documents. The original credit card name and password should still work to unlock the DRM (encryption). |
