The size of these guys

I was playing around today and made an illustration of the relative sizes of the 300, 350, 600, and 650, and also 5 and 6 inch screens. I find it interesting that there looks to be plenty of room for a 6 inch screen in even the smallest case, that of the 350. I know that the display needs an edge ribbon cable to control it, but that should be flexible enough to tuck away pretty tightly.

Here's the illustration-- it could prove useful for someone. The scale is 3 pixels per mm.

I suspect part of it is how fragile current E-ink screens are. They need a VERY rigid case to survive.

They also need enough bezel width in order to be confortably held. Too little and your thumb or fingers will constantly be covering up text. Too much and you have a bulky item. For me personally, the 350 is pushing the limit on bezel width as it is already so small that it is extremely difficult for me to hold without my thumb getting in the way.

And you also need enough room to place the infrared sensors on the sides that make the touchscreen work.

Not my 350-- manual says it uses something called "trilithium resin"?
