Get news without images?

I want to get the "Calibre-news-feeds" without any image to reduce the size of the files. Is this possible?

Yes, but you have to modify each recipe that you want to remove images on. There's not a lot of interest in doing this, but you can use remove_tags, preprocess_regexps or preprocess_html to do it if you're really determined.
