Borders special software on Sony Touch?

Yesterday I went to Borders and was delighted to see their line-up of eReaders prominently on display, including the one I've almost decided to buy, the Sony Touch.

The salesman said the Sony Touch comes preinstalled with some special Borders reader software. I couldn't find any reference to it on either the Sony or Borders web sites.

I'm sceptical. He seemed to blow smoke on another topic, so I wonder if he was making this up out whole cloth.

Does anyone know anything about this?

The Borders Reader software is something you install on your PC or mobile phone to allow you to read ebooks downloaded from Borders. So I'd say he was confused.

I bought one from sony, then returned it to pick up one from borders with the free cover. They ran identical software
