I love my Kindle and Calibre
Hi folks,

We (the wife and I) just got our Kindles, the 139 usd version.
It's our first ereader. This time we managed to wait until tech was up and price was down.

We live on a sailboat so it is a huge improvement of our library on board...
You can only take so many paper books with you on a boat. So, problem solved...

Cause I've been naughty and downloading lots of ebooks from usenet and stuff like that, I searched for a format-converter and of course ended up here.

I'm impressed. Both with the Kindle and very much with Calibre.
You can clearly see there is a lot of end-user knowledge put in there.

I'll definitely start browsing the threads!

Agreed the Kindle is an excellent ereader and Clibre looks to be great as well. The only problem that I have is I don't want to pay that much for an ereader. My price is $100 and Aluratek was willing to sell at that price. Although I firmly believe that the Kindle is a suprior product, hence the higher price.
