I reside in South Africa and recently purchased an iriver reader. I am totally frustrated as I am battling to find sources to obtain ebooks that will work on my reader. All sites seem to impose DRM of which Amazon and their Kindle is the main culprit.
Any suggestions?

We understand your frustration...follow some of the links in my signature line, you may find some that will work in SA.
Personally I use Fictionwise (Their multi-format range seems DRM-free), and there are many other indie sources .... even the mobileread library (dedicated to a former member) may have some gems for you..

Pop into the bookstore section of my own indie house (linked below), pick out a couple of titles that catch your eye and email me with your preferred format and I'd be happy to send them along with our compliments.
