T62 screen won't refresh
I have a T62 (D I think). It is rooted with the Nova launcher. The screen just started to not completely refresh and the refresh button does nothing. It is stuck with 1/2 the screen is my screen saver, part of the screen is the sailboat and the rest of the screen is just unreadable. It is still running and I can connect from my Windows Explorer on my PC and see the files etc.
Using the reset button doesn't seem to do anything either. I tried plugging it in overnight and there was no change. Any suggestions? ...........Jackie |

I'm sorry to be the messenger but what you are describing is a broken screen. Those things are quit fragile.

Nothing about the screen looks broken. I keep it in a padded case. This is very disappointing since I was very happy with this ereader. I bought a T68 that I had all sorts of problems with. Do you think there is any chance that it just needs totally reloading etc.? Can you see my tears???

Screen consists of different layers. Often the substrate layer is broken which isn't the top layer. By your description I'm quite sure the screen is broken and I don'*t see any chance to revitalize it. Sorry!

Can you post a photograph of your screen? The appearance of a broken substrate is distinctive.
