Multiple copies of books
In my Kindle PC directory (and also in the visual "book case" thing within the program) I have multiple copies of books I have bought. Is this normal? I was wondering if they were different updates or something, fixing spelling mistakes in older ones?

Just a thought ... could it be that you still have the free samples of the book that you might have downloaded before buying the book? Those aren't deleted automatically when you buy the full book and can make it look, at a glance, like you have two copies of the same title.

The books in question I didn't download a sample. One was a free limited time offer, and the other I already had a sample from Smashwords.

If you got one from Amazon and one from Smashwords then they would show up as 2 separate copies...

The one I got from Smashwords doesn't show up at all because it is an epub.
