iLiad SCUMM VM

Has anybody tried to compile

SCUMM VM

for the Iliad.

At least for the 16 color games ist should be fine (and scrolling is normally not that big problem for Lucas Arts Games).

The idea came my after i tried the SCUMM VM for Pocket PC ... its a lot of fun ...

SCUMM VM is cool, but I think eink could be a showstopper for games...but it's worth a try I guess...maybe one of our devs has a spare moment and can try it...Indiana Jones on the Iliad...that would be cool...

sorry, I never played manic mansion...I only know the Indy games and some others that are based on that "engine"...but I kow I spent lots of time trying to slove those...

Heh, Maniac Mansion was the original game from Lucasarts that built upon the Scumm VM Engine. I think I was still playing games on the C64 back then.

I solved Monkey Island 1 yesterday .. after 17 years (I started playing the game as a kid ...). Damned now I understand some jokes from the second part ;=).

Btw. I´ve played it on a color pocket pc (XDA Pro) - it´s really fun to play with such mobile devices ...
