hello
Very new to eReading and have just bought my Sony Touch - had to take the first one back - stopped reacting to the touch
 Good retailer just swapped it over so now to load the books back on. I'm in IT and like the idea of the "gadget" that is simple - was thinking of an iPad but this will fit in the hand bag when waiting for the kids at one of the many activites they do and the kids don't really want it at the moment  Looking for particular books but many authors don't seem happy to publish for eReaders. Well, this one is a good free site. Click on the wiki link above. Look under the ebooks column and you will see a link to free ebooks.
I am in IT as well. I showed my boss the Astak, and he expressed interest as a holder of tech manuals. He was a bit upset that computer manuals weren't cheaper via ebook downloads. I pointed out somewere, but I hadn't found many with a large discount. |
