Noooooooooooo! Broken screen

I was out in the backyard with the kids yesterday. I had to help my oldest son fix his fishing rod when I realized my book case was on the ground when it had been on the table. Then it occurred to me that my middle son who is autistic was on that side of my chair. If it is on the ground, he has to stand on it. I didn't see him step on it and when I opened the case, the screensaver looked fine so I thought nothing of it.

This morning, while waiting for an appointment, I turned it on and was greeted to a broken screen. I can't be mad at him because it is what he does.

Luckily, the 650s are in stock on the site and I ordered a replacement with the accidental breakage plan this time. I just don't really have the money right now but I guess that is what credit cards are for, emergencies, even if the Reader variety.

OH MY! I do feel for you. Even though I didn't want to spend the money I bought a back up device for my 350 when it went on sale the second time..

After I broke the screen on my first Libra Pro a mobile read member told me to go to a dollar store and get a photo album and put my reader in that. Nothing short of a one mile up drop will break the screen with the photo album cover on it.

Condolences regarding your reader. Luckily, it can be replaced.

What REALLY caught my eye in your post was..."I was out in the backyard with the kids yesterday. I had to help my oldest son fix his fishing rod ". A treasure.
