Having trouble viewing my books

I'm totally new to Calibre. I've had no problems adding books and editing metadata. Now, when I try to view a book, I get the following error message:

I have gotten an equivalent error message with several books (I haven't tried all of them). What should I do now?

If you want to view .azw files on your computer you need an application capable of viewing these files. Kindle4PC may be able to view these files.

Ah, thank you. I was under the impression that Calibre had a built-in e-book reader that could read multiple e-book formats.

You could try going to Preferences - Behavior and under Use internal viewer check AZW, but if it is restricted by DRM then the viewer will not be able to view it.

Thank you very much! It turns out that AZW wasn't checked, but it also turns out that the books were restricted by DRM.
