I do indeed plan on getting an ebook reader. It's for my wife. She had a stroke two years back and it left her with loss of peripheral vision on the left side. She sees nothing on the left when she's looking straight ahead. She leaves food on the left side of her plate, the word "therapist" looks like "rapist" to her. She can't read a book any more, but she reads perfectly the news items that scroll across the bottom of the TV screen. So I want to get her an ebook reader that scrolls the type across the display. I have started a thread under the heading of "Which ebook reader to buy" (I think).
