Hi, you all!
Altho' I haven't (as yet) obtained a reading device I've been an "observing" member of MobileRead for some time. Have been reading on my laptop for ages and am thinking of getting a SmartQ7 or something along those lines.
What? Oh, me? I'm a 76 yr old, moderately sight-impaired (diabetes) grandpa of 6, an inveterate reader and listener of audio books. Have a good one.

Hello there, Kef. Good to have your company. There's an interesting poll in another thread here about the age of members. Seems to me (you put fifteen years on me) that what some more 'mature' readers may lack in not having grown up with computer technology is made up for by our age group's passion for reading. Do take a look at the *Which One Should I Buy?* thread, too, for useful advice before choosing an ebook-reading device. Certainly for me the ability to easily and effectively increase the size of text is a consideration. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
