question about audiobooks
I have a host of audiobook files, both as all-in-one files, complete books, and as chaptered MP3 files. My problem is, when I load the audiobooks into a library, the m4b and m4a work great, but each chapter of the mp3 is added as a single files for each chapter. How do I make it so that all mp3 that belong to the same book are located as one book?

Store the first chapter in your library and add the entire book in a .zip archive to the data folder?

Create an empty book,
  • Store the MP3s in the book's data folder,
  • Create a playlist file for the files (e.g. an M3U with foobar2000)
  • Add the playlist to the book - drag drop into Book details, or copy & Metadata edit->paste into book list item.
Make sure your OS knows what to to with the playlist file.
