PoocketBook 616

Hi everyone, I have a PoocketBook 616 that starts the clock when you turn it on and then it doesn't. My question is, can it be reset to factory parameters in some way, or is it just a paperweight? Thanks.

There is a "factory reset" option in Settings section. You can try. But it's probably motherboard fault.

Thanks for answering, I'll try, but it's probably a fault in the motherboard.

You're referring to device configuration, I didn't understand you. The problem is that it won't turn on, I can't enter the menu, and I was wondering if there was a set of keys that I could use to reset it to factory settings.

I assume you've tried the usual...
  • Hold power down for 15 seconds
  • Try a different charger and cable

If that hasn't worked, you could try holding down BOTH back and forward (next/previous) page buttons then pressing power on button.

Still not working AND no longer under warranty?
You could open the device up to physically disconnect the battery from the motherboard and leave it disconnected for a while, before reconnecting and trying again. Obviously you're proceeding at your own risk here!
