Search by publisher

Is it possible to search only by publisher e.g. have kobo show all the books by a particular publisher?

If you mean for books in the device's library, then no, the only fields that are searched are the title, subtitle, author, and series.

If you mean on the website, then yes, you can search by adding &fcsearchfield=Publisher to the search URL, e.g. to search for books published by Spatterlight Press: http://store.kobobooks.com/en-nz/Sea...ield=Publisher

I actually meant search by publisher on the kobo website?

Sorry I should have been clearer in my question.

As GeoffR said, you can do it on the site. I usually find a book from the publisher and click on the publishers name to do the search.

This method for the website doesn't work anymore.
By adding &fcsearchfield=publisher to the search you're redirected to &fcsearchfield=all

It seems they have canceled the field "publisher"

Is there any other way?

I've found out!!!
The field name has changed, now it is "imprint"
So you should ad: "&fcsearchfield=imprint" and your search:
http://store.kobobooks.com/en-nz/Sea...hfield=imprint

Congratulation on finding a solution and in reviving a thread which hadn't been posted in in 11 years.

If the search for a specific publisher is wanted on a Kobo Reader, can you search for subtitle which can be used to store the publisher name?

Since the subtitle is a searchable field, yes you could. However this thread was discussing searching the Kobo website by publisher which makes your question something that should have been posted in a new thread.
