Fujitsu Quadreno 2nd Generation or 3rd Generation

I can get Fujitsu Quadreno second generation for 600 Singapore dollars or Supernote A4 coming up which is about 1000 dollars. Is the improved pen latency worth it?

Neither is worth it compared to an 8″ Kobo Sage for ebooks (pen & notes optional) and also at same time a TCL Nxtpaper 14 (Nxtpaper 3.0, USI 2.0 pen and 14.25″ 3:2 aspect). Both together about $650, inc TCL pen. Extra for pen on Sage. The Sage is better than the reMarkable or Elipsa for notes, but rubbish compared to Nxtpaper 11 or Nxtpaper 14 for notes.

Modular design on Supernote may be something that could convince me to go with it. Hard to say, I haven't looked at them thoroughly.

A current eink panel has the light pipe and capacitive touch bonded as a single unit to reduce layers and improve contrast. Some have it bonded to front panel.

Modular really only applies to laptops.

Yeah, but you need to disassemble, and deglue everything, and doing that, break the warranty.

It will be out of warranty by the time battery needs replaced, which isn't hard on many except later Kindles esp Oasis 2 &3. Kobo, Sony and first 4 Kindles OK.
