Roman numerals when sorting columns

Is Calibre able to sort roman numerals correctly, or should I use regular arabic numbers?

For reference, these are for games in my documentations & manuals VL.

Related question: Does the 'contains names' option on taglike columns work for only actual names, or can it be used for any custom-sorted value?

EDIT: It didn't seem to work the way I expected. It just made it change to ampersands instead of commas. Oh well.
