Calibre can't open Pop up windows
Windows 10 updated this week, and since then Calibre can no longer open pop up windows, eg. if I try to edit metadata. Then, whatever I try to do, I get the Windows error bing. I have to use Taskmanager to shut Calibre down.
I updated to V7.26, still the same. The windows update MIGHT be a conincidence but .... Has anyone else seen this? Any clues? Liz

No problem here with latest Calibre (v 7.26) and Windows 10 (fully updated). Sorry I can't help with the actual problem.

Did you try Alt Tab or whatever Windows uses now to cycle through open windows? |

One person I know ran into an issue where all pop-ups were now pop-behinds in calibre and a couple of other programs. He ended up updating his video driver (NVidia of some flavour) and changing the settings to default and the problem cleared up.

In the OP's case, they were not pop-ups, but pop-overs.

I'd call them pop-offs.
A pop-over is a non-modal child window that always stays on top of its parent, even when the parent window has focus - e.g. the Reports windows in Sigil and the calibre ebook-editor Ψ³ BR |
