Send to kindle by usb
Since installing Calibre version 6.11 when I transfer books to my paperwhite by cable they go as epub files and can not be read on my kindle. The prefered output format is set to mobi.
and suggestions on how to correct this will be appreciated

right click on the device icon in calibre and chosoe customize this device and make sure epub is unticked in the list.

Device: All 4 Kinds: epub eink, Kindle, android eink, NxtPaper
Make sure you convert epubs to azw3 with desired settings.
Make sure azw3 is ticked and top on device format list and epub not ticked at all.
Only ancient Kindles (Original, K2, DX, DXG) should get mobi.
