Can Microsoft run an antispyware product without huge conflicts of interest?
Joel on software is a brilliant blog written by a SW developer. Although it is focused on SW (doh!) his posts are interesting for people not really into SW business. Take for example his post on the conflicts of interest that might arise in MS's search for spyware in your computer.
Home: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/index.html Interesting posts: On MS antispyware: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2005/02/17.html On hiring the top %1: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2005/01/27.html On open SW: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/artic...egyLetterV.html I couldn't find some other interesting posts, like one on the way he procrastinates (sounded too familiar), but you might want to look in his archive. PS Sorry, I had already posted about this blog, but the title didn't attract many people, I hope this time more people read this. |
