Kobo Nickel line spacing

Hi

Someone may already have solved this. I have a Kobo Aura H20 with latest firmware and thought I would try the Kobo Nickel font. I like it (with weight adjusted quite high), however I can't get the line spacing as small as I would like. Even on the lowest value you can set in the software it is larger than I would like. Is there a way to decrease it further. Thanks.

You can patch your Kobo firmware the my line 10 patch would do what you want.

Note I’m linking to the current firmware patch thread please make sure you read it and ensure your firmware matches. There are patches for older firmware as well.

My line 24 would also work and I think give you more granular control but as of the last time I looked we’re waiting on this patch. But my line 10 should get the line spacing down a bit more.

There may also be limitations with how close the lines can get with that font

The problem is that the metadata of the font is a bit screwed up. It's an easy fix and I could fix it no problem at all if it wasn't for the fact that Kobo protects the fonts that is supplies with the firmware.
