Sigil 9.17
I haven't updated Sigil in quite a while so I probably missed any comments about this, or maybe it's only *my* problem...
With this upgrade, I can no longer drag files in Book Browser up or down to change the order in which they appear. Thanks for any comments... |

I have something sort of similar which started maybe 2 versions ago or so.
If I drag a file one step, nothing happens, if I drag it a bit further it does. So if I want to move a file one step after the next file, I have to drag it further down, and then up again. |

Works on Mojave 10.14.6
BTW your subject is not helpful. It doesnt point out you're talking about a bug nor what the bug is. Theres enough room for that |

Works for me as well. Perhaps they meant Tab reordering? That was disabled and can be re-enabled with a environment variable.

No, it is actually a Book Browser thing. You need to drag it a few positions from its original spot before the black line will display where it can be released. So, if you only want to move it by one position you need to drag the mouse several positions until the black line appears, then back to where you want it, then release the mouse button.

Yes, until that black line appears you could have just flicked on or nudged the icon. That is why Qt provides visual feedback that you are actually dragging and dropping.
